A horse can perform in any dicipline, there are no such bad horses if they are cared and looked after, if they are healthy and trained.  This has nothing to do with Horsemanship, animal protection or legislation It's sound common sense! Only in a proper environement with training that answers physiological and psychological needs the horse will behave has a true partner in the horse-man relationship and become truly an attaching companion as the work will progress for the benefit of both horse and rider
